Girl's State

On Sunday, June 19, 2005 Audrey B. Blondin was a guest speaker at the Girl's State Forum held this year at ECSU. Audrey spoke on the topic of Media and Public Policy and the importance of women being involved and joining the field. Joining Audrey at the event were Joyce Peck and Ruth Epstein of the Waterbury Republican. Topics discussed included: writing an effective press release, letters to the editor and the effect and influence of the media on shaping public policy. Audrey has been a guest speaker at Girl's State for the past several years and it's always a wonderful and exciting experience to be with tomorrow's future women leaders in our state.
